Authors are ROCKSTARS! is a new podcast by Allison (@alli_librarian on Twitter) and Michelle (@nggu_reviews). We are two somewhat geeky ladies who absolutely adore young adult literature. We both blog about it, but we wanted to have another outlet to share our love of YA. And so... the idea for this podcast was BORN!
To us, authors are ROCKSTARS! I cannot tell you how much we gush over books on our weekly walks with our kids. We love reading and we wanted to give authors the recognition they deserve. So, every month, we'll be interviewing an author or two and sharing these awesome interviews with you guys. Pretty cool, right? Not only will we have awesome interviews, but we'll be sharing news and reviews on YA lit releases, doing fun giveaways, and sharing some rockin' music. So yeah, kick butt music, book reviews, giveaways, and author interviews. It's the whole enchilada.
Our first podcast should be hitting the 'net by Thursday or Friday, knock on wood. We were so lucky to get the opportunity to sit down and chat with Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. They are such AMAZING ladies and seriously, they are both ROCKSTARS! We'll post pictures of the crowd from the event we attended. It was an incredible sight. So much love for great books & rockstar authors in one room!
